Who is responsible for this site
This website is the personal site of Ahmad A. Idris, based in the United Kingdom. If you have any question about this notice, contact me through the contact page.
What this site collects
Browsing this site requires no account and collects no personal information. The site sets no cookies of its own, uses no advertising, and runs no invasive analytics or tracking scripts.
Headings and body text are displayed using fonts loaded from Google Fonts. When your browser requests those font files, Google receives standard technical information such as your IP address. You can read more in Google's own privacy documentation. The site works fully if such requests are blocked; standard system fonts are used instead.
If you contact me
If you send a message through the contact form, the details you provide (your name, email address and message) are delivered to my inbox by a form delivery service and used only to read and reply to your message. They are not sold, shared for marketing, or added to any mailing list. If you contact me on LinkedIn, LinkedIn's own privacy policy applies.
The Pathways newsletter
If you subscribe to Pathways, the weekly email round-up, the first name and email address you provide are delivered to my inbox by a form delivery service and kept on a private subscriber list used only to send you the newsletter. The list is not sold, shared or used for advertising. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any edition with the word unsubscribe, and your details are then removed.
How long information is kept
Messages are kept for as long as a genuine correspondence needs, and deleted when no longer relevant.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask what personal information I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Use the contact page and I will respond promptly.
Hosting
Like every website, the server that hosts this site records standard technical logs, such as IP addresses and pages requested, which the hosting provider uses for security and operations.
